ONGOING PATH MAINTENANCE

 volunteers/new volunteers are invited to get in touch to discuss days out on the hill/Glen tracks working with Martin McCrorie, our paths specialist.There is much to be done and we don't want to restrict our supporters to our "fixed" days and weekends, so if you'd like to help at your convenience, please do get in touch as below. (we are hoping to be able to extend our FREE accommodation offers for some or even all of these weekends  in conjunction with local providers - please watch this space!)

PATH SPONSORSHIP - volunteer in your own time and at your own pace!
This is a great way to support the Friends of Nevis, it’s ideal for individuals, families or businesses and you decide when and where to help out

How it works
WE identify paths in the Glen/Ben/River Nevis areas that would benefit from some care and attention on a fairly regular basis
YOU choose a section of a path you’d like to care for – length/location to suit you
WE offer initial training/guidance, support with equipment etc. as needed
YOU visit your chosen path every so often and keep it tidy!
WE organise a simple method for recording the work carried out
YOU have the satisfaction of knowing you are contributing in a very real and direct way to supporting and protecting the Nevis Area
